The Qur'an text
The Uthmani and Imlaei texts come from the Tanzil Project, used under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 and reproduced verbatim. No word of it is generated, corrected or paraphrased here — which is the point of the whole service: the timings are worked out by machine, the text never is.
That licence asks that the source be named and that a link travel with the text. It does: in the footer of every page, inside every file format that has a comment syntax, and as an ATTRIBUTION.txt beside the formats that have none.
Open source
Quran-Transcribe stands on a great deal of freely given work — decades of it, by people who will never know this site exists. The licences of everything used are honoured in full, and the typefaces are served from this site rather than fetched from anywhere else.
If something is wrong
A timing that is out is something you can fix yourself on the result page, and the files are rewritten from your correction. If the text itself ever looks wrong, that is far more serious — it would mean a bug in how the published text is read, not a judgement call, and it is worth reporting.
